Losing a loved one is never easy, and when the holidays come around, it can feel like you lost them all over again.
Grieving during the holidays is very normal, and you can overcome it.
If you have lost someone that you are missing dearly, here are some ways you can manage your grief:
Allow yourself to acknowledge your feelings and the loss(es)
Create a ritual that honors your loved one
Talk about your loved one with others who are around
There are also ways that you can help someone you know manage their grief:
Be present with the person when you're with them
Reach out to the person who is grieving and make plans to spend time together
Invite the person to talk about their lost one
